Ce qui devait arriver a finalement eu lieu, mais ce n'est que 2 semaines apres la mort de son frère, Michael Jackson, que La Toya a fait ses première déclaration à la presse.
Entre temps une tres émouvante et digne ceremonie publique a été rendu à Michael au Staples center de Los Angeles.
Une cérémonie funèbre qui a probablement été vue par des millions de personnes, comme moi, un hommage respectueux et autour de la musique, la fibre qui a toujours fait vibrer Michael et toute la famille Jackson: un langage universel.
Je retiendrai le tres émouvant et chaleureux hommage de Brooke Shielde à Michael, les tres belles chansons de Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Lionel Richie... et bien sur le magnifique "smile" chanté par Jermaine Jackson avec beaucoup de sensibilité, c'etait la chanson preferée de Michael.
Enfin la famille par l'intermediaire de Marlon (qui nous a evoqué le frère jumeau mort-né de Michael, un temoignage tres triste), Jermaine et Paris, sa fille, se sont receuillis et c'etait vraiment touchant de voir cette famille unie malgré la douleur, ils etaient là et dignes: Jakie, La Toya, Janet, Tito, Rebbie, Randy: une famille comme tant d'autres finalement, une famille Black & White.
Mais revenons à la déclaration de La Toya, alors que de son côté son père Joe Jackson c'est repandu en interventions médiatiques pas du meilleur goût dès le deuxieme jours apres la mort du chanteur.
Il est intervenu dans une ceremonie où il semblait plus en promotion qu'en deuil, et Joe Jackson a recemment déclaré qu'il pensait que les enfants de Michael pourraient devenir des entertainers et qu'il gardaient un oeil sur eux, ce qui fait plutot froid dans le dos.
Heuresement Janet au même moment avait fait une declaration simple et courte pour honorer la mémoire de son frère (dans cette ceremonie les Bet Awards), une declaration que l'on retrouve sur son site internet (qui est actuellement fermé), elle rappelle que si pour le monde Michael est une icône, pour elle c'est evidemment la famille!
De la même façon La Toya propose egalement une commemoration à la mémoire de son frère sur son site officiel.
La Toya a donc choisie un journal anglais (Dailymail) pour sa première interview , une interview où elle defend farouchement son frère mais explique ses suspitions face à sa mort. La nouvelle est deja reprise dans le monde entier. A mon sens ce type de déclaration est risquée, mais il semble que La Toya soit effectivement le moteur de la famille pour etablir la verité sur cette mort prematurée.
La Toya declare que son frère Michael aurait été tué par une conspiration de plusieurs personnes.
D'ailleurs la famille a choisie La Toya pour signer le certificat de déces de Michael comme l'ateste une copie deja publiée aux USA.
La Toya explique qu'elle etait mécontente que le staff de Michael l'eloigne volontairement de sa famille, que c'etait bizarre. D'autre part elle est persuadé que Michael ne voulait pas faire 50 concert à Londres mais seulement 10, ce qui semble credible car comme elle le dit Michael etait fragile et pour n'importe quel artiste 50 concerts d'affilé c'est tres eprouvant. Elle se demande si pour les managers et le staff de Michael, il n'est pas plus rentable mort que vivant.
Néanmoins La Toya rappelle comme Lisa-Marie Presley que Michael confiait avoir le pressentiment de mourir dans la cinquantaine. Ainsi cela ferait des années que Michael avait ce funeste pressentiment, mais La Toya dit qu'elle avait fait part de ses inquietudes à sa famille face aux concerts prévues.
Ensuite elle explique comment elle a accompagnée les enfants de Michael: Paris, Prince Michael et Blankett dans cette difficile épreuve et qu'il ont tenu a voir leur père une denrière fois le jour de sa mort et qu'il avait l'air paisible, la Toya dement toutes les rumeurs quui le decrivent dans un etat lamentable, neanmoins elle a remarqué des traces de piqures sur son cou.
Quoi qu'il en soit la famille a l'air tres unis pour acceuillir les enfants de Michael au sein de la famille et les préserver. Maintenant la famille attend les resultat de la deuxieme autopsie et ne fera pas de declaration à ce sujet avant que tout soit eclaircie.
Le destin de La Toya semble toujours interrompue par des evenements exterieurs, ainsi si auparavant (il y a 15ans) son ancien manager l'a obligé a faire des declarations sur Michael qu'elle ne souhaitait pas faire, aujourd'hui la mort de son frère la censure d'un film "Bruno" dans lequel elle apparaissait. Néanmoins c'est plutot une bonne chose car La Toya avait été piegé dans ce film d'assez mauvais goût.
Par contre La Toya preparait son retour en musique avec un nouveau single et cela risque d'être compromis vu les circonstances.
